Getting started
First, make sure the pallet jack is unplugged from its charger. Find the power switch on the side of the jack and flip it to the on position (marked "I"). Then, on the keypad on the handle, press 1 followed by the green button to activate it.
Operating the jack
Use the handle to steer and control your speed. The jack moves in the direction the handle is pointed. Keep the forks as low as possible when moving through the building, and make sure your load is evenly distributed.
Safety
Do not ride on the pallet jack. Be aware of your surroundings, especially around corners and near other members. Give everyone plenty of space when operating the jack, and never exceed the weight capacity.
When you're done
Please return the electric pallet jack to its storage location and plug it back in to charge. This is shared equipment, so keeping it charged and available helps everyone in the building.
